Can I get my brand new car detailed?Applying a layer of clear coat will protect your car's paint as most brand new cars' exterior does not come with any form of protection. The clear coat would not affect your car's colour, yet is there to preserve it. Moving forward, your new car would need to be waxed or have a ceramic coating as part of its maintenance.
